Mojito
Add a little Cuban flavour to your gift by sending a Mojito. Also a fantastic choice for a guy - trust us – he will be absolutely thrilled to receive his very own muddler!
Traditional Mojitos (the best in our opinion!) are made with mint, rum, sugar, lime, and club soda.
The Mojito is a classic and trendy cocktail made famous by Hemingway, so go ahead and send the reminiscence of wild, hot Havana nights
Ingredients
6 fresh mint leaves
caster sugar, to taste
½ lime, cut into wedges
2¼ measures rum
ice
3½ measures sparkling water
Angostura bitters
1 sprig mint, to garnish
Method
1. Muddle the mint, sugar and lime together.
2. Add the rum, then fill the glass with ice and top up with the sparkling water and a splash of Angostura bitters.
3. Garnish with a sprig of mint, and serve.
Tip: Stir well and use your imagination for different flavours. For example, adding strawberries or chillies works well.
